	What is DC Ignition & lighting system?
	System works on DC electrical energy of battery. For Ignition system, supply comes from battery instead of exciter coil located inside magneto. The vehicle battery is always kept changed by the magneto through DC voltage regulated which is incorporated in R.R.Unit
	What are the benefits / advantages of having DC system?
	Constant & consistent high intensity current is available even at low engine rpm which gives improved combustion & better starting ability.
	No voltage fluctuations in the head-light, resulting in a brighter & uniform illumination.
	Which type of Battery is used in this bike?
	A low maintenance battery (shortly named as MF) is used in this bike.
	What is this MF Battery? Does one need to pay more for its maintenance?
	The MF battery is a recent development in the DC electrical system of 2Wh & has proven itself on Pulsar DTS-i since last 2 years. (In fact these type of batteries were introduced in cars earlier than the bikes) It is different than the conventional one in the material composition. The main features of this MF battery are :- ° Electrolyte level checking is not required frequently. ° The unique vent mechanism provided that do not allow loss of electrolyte. ° No drain pipe unlike in conventional type battery so zero chance of spillage of electrolyte.
	What is the warranty limit for this MF Battery?
	The warranty limit for the MF battery is 18 months from the date of vehicle sold against any manufacturing defect observed.
	Will there be additional maintenance needed for DC ignition & DC lighting?
	No.
	Fixing of additional electrical / electronic gadgets, will is affect the battery?
	Yes, battery will get drained quickly & will cause damage to electronic & electrical items on the vehicle.
	Can we ride the bike by removing the battery?
	No. Disconnecting the battery from the vehicle will disable the starting / Ignition system & vehicle would cease to start.
	Why is there no Kick starter provision in Pulsar 180 DTS-i?
	All Sport motorcycles do not use kick-starters for the reason that riders footrest comes in the way of kick operation necessitating folding of the footrest etc. As the Electric Start System is of an advanced nature, starting the bike even if the battery is dead can done by the push start method.
	Since this vehicle is with DC lighting system, will it be having headlamp control unit?
	No. It will have a BCU (Body Control Unit)
	Will it have auto choke?
	No. This vehicle comes with manual choke.
	Are tubeless tyres used in both Pulsar 150 & Pulsar 180?
	The tubeless tyres are used only in Pulsar 180 only.
	What is a tubeless tyre & what are its advantages?
	The name ‘Tubeless’ it self speaks that the tyre is without a tube. In this tyre there is an inner tube which is an integral part of the tyre known as inner. The air is held between the rim & the tyre. The air filling valve is fixed tightly on wheel rim. Advantages : · Slow air leak · Better fuel efficiency · Less chance of damage in case of flat running · Better heat dissipation · Cost saving on tube · No tube related problems
	Is the tubeless tyre repairable?
	YES. Tubeless tyres can be repaired locally. There are various methods like Filter Method Plug (Mushroom) Method Patch Method But Bajaj Auto Limited recommends Plug (Mushroom) method since it is more effective & safe
	What is the function of Battery icon popping up in speedometer?
	The icon provided in the speedometer console indicates the status of battery. When the battery voltage drops down bellow 11.9 volts then it pops up & indicates the rider that battery needs charging
	Can the spoilers of New Pulsar DTS-i be fitted on old Pulsar DTS-i?
	No, it is not possible as the mounting brackets for fixing the spoilers are welded on petrol tank at precise locations only.
	Can old Pulsar /existing Pulsar DTS-i with AC + DC system can be converted into DC Ignition system as like New Pulsar DTS-i.
